This page outlines our policy regarding requests for information from government authorities and law enforcement agencies. The Company only discloses information when legally required under the laws of Singapore.
Jurisdiction
The Company is a legal entity operating under the laws of Singapore. All requests for user information must be submitted in accordance with Singaporean law.
- Requests from foreign authorities will not be processed directly. They must be submitted through appropriate international legal assistance treaties (MLAT) and handled by the competent Singaporean authorities.
- Any request outside of this framework will be rejected.
Conditions for Disclosure
The Company may disclose information only when:
- It receives an official request from a competent Singaporean authority;
- There is a valid court order, warrant, or other binding legal requirement under Singaporean law;
- The request is processed via the appropriate MLAT mechanism for foreign authorities.
The Company does not respond to informal requests, voluntary cooperation inquiries, or requests outside of Singaporean jurisdiction.
Request Submission Process
Requests from Singapore Authorities
Competent Singaporean authorities (e.g., Singapore Police Force, courts, Attorney-General’s Chambers, or other legally authorized regulators) may submit requestsdirectlyto the Company.
Such requests must:
- Be made in writing, in English, on official agency letterhead;
- Identify the requesting agency, the legal authority under which the request is made, and provide the contact details of the responsible officer;
- Include a valid court order, warrant, or other binding legal instrument issued under Singaporean law;
- Clearly specify the information sought and the relevant time period;
- Indicate the purpose of the request in the context of an official investigation or legal proceedings.
The Company verifies the authenticity of the request and, if compliant with Singaporean law, provides the requested information.
Requests from Foreign Authorities
The Company does not process direct requests from foreign government or law enforcement agencies.
Foreign authorities must:
- Submit their requests through the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) framework or other recognized channels of international cooperation accepted by Singapore;
- Address the request to the competent authority in Singapore (e.g., the Attorney-General’s Chambers), which will then evaluate and, if appropriate, forward the request to the Company;
- Ensure that the request meets all requirements of Singaporean law.
Direct submissions from foreign authorities to the Company will be rejected without substantive response.
